Adelia Palomar, 86, of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, wife of the late Manuel Ramos, passed away peacefully at home on March 23, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. She was born on May 29, 1938, to the late Luis Alfonso Palomar Hernandez and Delia Perdomo de Palomar in Baraya, Huila, Colombia.

A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, Adelia was known for her warm heart and loving personality. She cherished time with her family and touched many lives with her kindness and unwavering love.

Adelia is survived by her son, Manuel Alfonso Ramos, and his wife, Noreley Ramos; her daughter, Janeth Ramos Palomar, and her partner, Fernando Henao. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Natalia Ramos, Viviana Castaño, Alejandro Ramos, and Liliveth Castaño. In addition, she leaves behind many siblings, step-grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Higginson Ave, Lincoln, RI. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, March 27, at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Spirit Parish, 1030 Dexter St, Central Falls, RI. Burial private.

Adelia will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to guide and inspire us, and her memory will live on forever in our hearts.



Adelia Palomar, de 86 años, residente de Pawtucket, Rhode Island, esposa del difunto Manuel Ramos, falleció en su hogar el 23 de marzo de 2025, rodeada de sus seres queridos. Nació el 29 de mayo de 1938, hija de los difuntos Luis Alfonso Palomar Hernández y Delia Perdomo de Palomar, en Baraya, Huila, Colombia.

Amada esposa, madre, abuela, bisabuela, hermana y amiga, Adelia era conocida por su gran corazón y personalidad cariñosa. Atesoraba el tiempo con su familia y conmovió a muchas personas con su bondad y amor inquebrantable.

A Adelia le sobreviven su hijo, Manuel Alfonso Ramos, y su esposa, Noreley Ramos; su hija, Janeth Ramos Palomar, y su pareja, Fernando Henao. También le sobreviven sus nietos: Natalia Ramos, Viviana Castaño, Alejandro Ramos y Liliveth Castaño. Además, deja numerosos hermanos y bisnietos.

El velatorio se llevará a cabo el miércoles 26 de marzo, de 16:00 a 19:00 h, en la Funeraria Keefe, ubicada en 5 Higginson Ave, Lincoln, RI. La misa católica se celebrará el jueves 27 de marzo a las 9:30 h en la Parroquia del Espíritu Santo, ubicada en 1030 Dexter St, Central Falls, RI.

Extrañaremos mucho a Adelia, pero su espíritu seguirá guiándonos e inspirándonos, y su recuerdo vivirá por siempre en nuestros corazones.
